Virtual Excel Project Coordinator (Work-From-Home Contract Position)

 

This is a Contract position with potential for ongoing part-time work.

 

Supporting Strategies is seeking an Excel expert to help us take our reporting capabilities, tracking key performance indicators throughout our organization, to the next level.

 

Supporting Strategies has provided outsourced bookkeeping and operational support services since 2004.  Our use of experienced accounting professionals, virtual infrastructure, and a systematic business process results in a compelling and comprehensive solution for growing businesses.  Supporting Strategies currently has offices in over 70 locations in the U.S. and growing. 

Responsibilities

Using their advanced Excel skills, this person would work closely with our CEO and other stakeholders to improve our existing Excel-based reporting tools.  This will involve leveraging their experience to automate much of what is today a manual process.  Also, there will be a focus on ensuring data integrity across multiple data-intensive programs that are currently in use throughout the franchises that we support.

 

This is a remote, virtual position.

Qualifications

The fully qualified candidate must have the following experience and attributes:

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel – Thorough comfort with and understanding of VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Macros and other advanced Excel functions.
  • Track record of building or improving reporting efficiencies for other organizations (references speaking to this experience will be required).
  • Problem-solver/analyst mentality.
  • Clean background check.
  • Confidentiality and ability to keep data secure.
